Certain basic survival indicators should be added that need to be periodically recharged through an action, for example:
Sleep or fatigue: After a long time without sleep (for example, a full day at level 1), characters should request a rest or faint. Once their bar is completely depleted, if the character takes a short or long rest, their sleep bar should completely reset. As the character gains a higher level or a higher attribute, their resistance will increase.
Hunger: After many hours without eating (for example, a full day at level 1), the character could suffer a penalty in HP. Once their bar is completely depleted, if the character takes a short or long rest, their hunger bar should completely reset. As the character gains a higher level or a higher characteristic, their resistance will increase.
Temperature: There should be a temperature indicator showing whether the character may suffer an HP penalty from extreme cold or heat. Certain items, such as clothing or accessories, can neutralize the effects of temperature, in addition to potions or consumables.
