Cant even play my campaign

I have 3 open campaigns, on every single one of them I am now stuck in a loop. Franz refuses to respond to ANYTHING. I just constantly get the error “Franz is having trouble responding” and now am at a complete halt. I cannot play ANY of my campaigns. This is becoming too much. Not only do I have to remind franz of every single thing thats going on, CONSTANTLY, now I cant even run the campaigns without fail.
