Generate with AI not creating images

Started a campaign on Avenndor. I noticed one of the NPCs had a full black image for the character sheet picture so i took the information in the appearance, backstory and personality and plugged it into the Generate with AI button. When I did it gave an error, said it would generate a new image and then said it couldn't generate an image and wanted me to select or upload one. Did the image generation get removed or is it having an issue? Franz also made a couple of NPCs that had no images. I removed them from the campaign since they I ended up killing them and Franz made a comment that had me think he had forgotten they were dead.
