POIs memory system

Hello guys,

After the recent updates, I ran a few tests and played a couple of sessions — and honestly, I was really impressed with how smoothly everything worked. I didn’t run into any bugs or weird issues at all. The new “memories” system in NPC character sheets especially stood out — it’s super helpful for keeping track of things and avoiding accidental meta info.

However, I did notice one thing related to Points of Interest.
It seems that when a player does something significant in a POI, Franz tends to “forget” about it after some time. I get why this happens — it’s an LLM limitation — but I had an idea: what if POIs had their own “memory” system, similar to NPCs?

That way, Franz could remember the context of each location — what happened there, what changed, and how the player interacted with it.

For example, in one of my sessions I burned down a tavern, and later when I returned to check it out, Franz described it as if nothing had ever happened — like it was still fully intact. There are plenty of similar moments like that.

If POIs could store their own memories, the world would feel much more dynamic and consistent. Players could revisit places and see the consequences of their actions — turning it from a one-way adventure into a true RPG experience.

Of course, I can always manually remind Franz of past events (and I often do, by keeping notes myself), but I doubt most new players will want to manage that manually. So in my opinion, adding a POI memory system would be a must-have for a more complete experience.

That’s all for now! If I notice any bugs or issues, I’ll report them.
Thanks for all your hard work — keep it up!
