Racial Abilities: assigning spells to races

It would be great if you could build in the option to assign a limited number of spells to races so that even non-spellcaster classes can use them as their racial abilities e.g. a wood elf fighter could be able to cast longstrider, a drow elf thief would be able to cast darkness and so on.
