Unclear what an location interaction is/does

You can add an ‘interaction’ to an location:

From this modal it isn’t clear at all what this is/does. Like can you use this to trigger a certain reaction upon entering this location? I think an example would be really useful, maybe in the form of an ‘e.g. …’ after the placeholder.
